Sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images without consent is a crime that can come with a five year prison sentence.

The Student Advisory Service is obliged to contact Police if there is a risk to life or where there is a clear safeguarding issue.
* Reports from students will be assessed by the Student Advisory Service, reports by staff will be assessed by People Services (HR) and reports by visitors will be sent to complaints. Relevant policies will be triggered with consent. If a member of staff is named then the University may discuss this with their line manager.
